The Pixsys PL280 PLC range features a compact design. The PL280 CPU, programmable with the LogicLab environment, is configured as a control unit and connectivity node, complete with RS485 serial (Modbus RTU), Ethernet (Modbus TCP) and CANopen, and is based on an ARM CORTEX H7 480MHz microprocessor.
The PL280 can be expanded with PLE500 modules, which communicate with the CPU via an internal real-time bus on a DIN rail. For remote I/O acquisition and management, the MCM260X series is also available.
For Industry 4.0 connectivity, the Modbus TCP protocol is supported and available as a feature in the LogicLab development tool.
